You will be part of a small cross functional squad developing services while ensuring reliability and security across public facing payments systems. 

24/7 availability of their payment systems is critical with customers using over 40 payment types and 100 different currencies across time zones. Along with your team, you will be responsible for building and supporting internal and external API integrations for customers as well as systems to accept and disburse payments. In addition, you will be developing and implementing complex fraud detection tools while exploring AI algorithms to enhance security and drive compliance. 

Scaling these processes across an international, highly available platform while ensuring the safety of their existing infrastructure is one of the most critical activities within the engineering team. 

While you will be working in a Microsoft orientated environment, the right person, first and foremost should be solution led valuing outcomes over outputs. Individually the engineers are skilled in .NET, JavaScript, Java, Go, Python and Scala but collectively they are dedicated to their mission of creating exceptional customer experience at all levels of the stack.

• Deep level of experience across backend engineering in any language
• An understanding of automated fraud detection systems
• Experience developing and deploying changes that will remain performant under traffic
