With close to 2 million customers across EMEA and with constant growth my client is looking for a Head of Application Security to work with engineers to ensure security across their platform and products. This is a hands-on role and the right person will be excited to help build a world-class security function while working within an \”everyone takes responsibility for security\” culture for engineering.  

The right person will be:

-More of a hacker than a compliance expert; while both skillsets are important, they need someone who can take a creative approach to finding high-impact vulnerabilities in novel software systems.

-Excited to lead a team; and have significant opportunities for hands-on work as well, but our surface area is too large for one person to handle everything and you should be excited about leveraging the skills of a larger team of engineers and testers.

-Eager to work with partners; while we will be extensive investment on their in-house security team, there is also a significant budget for third-party testing, bounty programs, etc., and you should be confident in your ability to make pragmatic decisions about when it might make sense to outsource certain activities.
